L3 Challenge Day 4: Do something for yourself

#AllWomenChallenge

#Challenge4: Do something for yourself and turn it into a ritual

1-#JustForToday: Visualize the person you want to be.
If you are still having trouble doing this, I know I am, try thinking of all the individuals whom have inspired you so far. What about them inspire you towards this person you know, or at least your subconscious knows, is inside? That person who has done, said or dared things you have only thought of and have always wanted to explore. The friend that stood their ground or the performer that killed it on stage. Our feelings, intuition, is your compass**.

2- #JustForToday: Calm down mind chatter.
Just for today stick with calming down mind chatter. It’s the hardest one but with the most substantial results. You are doing awesome, keep it up!

3- #JustForToday: Commit.
Commit to integrity. Just for today, do one thing that is in alignment with the being you want to be. Be the example

4- #JustForToday: Do something for yourself and turn it into a ritual.
Just for today, take 5 min, at least, for yourself. You deserve your own attention as much as the next. Yes I am once again putting a great amount of emphasis in regards to this! Do something that makes you feel good about yourself and relaxed. This challenge is to an extra importance this time because it is used in reconnecting with ourselves and reconnecting with ourselves is, as already mentioned, leadership 101. We can’t lead if we don’t know where we are leading too.

We know where we are leading too, when we know who we are.

We know who we are, when we have found ourself.

And we find our higher self, when we are responding in accordance with the greater good for ourself and for all.

The greatest Love of them all. Take this time for yourself and turn it as a ritual, make it sacred part of your day. It’s important. So just for today, take that 5 mins for yourself and sit alone on the stairs in front of your office. Or get that 5$ iced caramel frappuccino your crazing so much and enjoy every sip. Go for that jog, put on that mascara and or eyeliner your didn’t have time to put on this morning.

L3 Challenge Day #3: Commit

#AllWomenChallenge

#Challenge3: Commit

1- #JustForToday: Visualize the person you want to be.
If you still have trouble with this brake it down. Think of what kind of daughter, son, entrepreneur, teacher, mother, Lover, the kind of boss you want to be or become. Your highest self is the person that make you feel the happiest inside.

2- #JustForToday: Monitor mind chatter.
Thoughts are like seeds planted in the mind. We decide the kind of fertilizer we use. When something is repeated long enough it becomes, something psychologist like to say, the self fulling prophecy. If we constantly bombard our mind with unrealistic thoughts of negativity we self sabotage ourself. We bring our vibrational level down and in consequence attract these things or misfortune. Misfortune is in the eye of the beholder. When your better able to control your mind you’ll be able to see and even transforme misfortunes into opportunity.

3- #JustForToday: Commit
Its easy to get distracted and never finish any projects or goals we set out. A leader is able to set himself or herself a mission and plan accordingly. They do not wait around for anyone to assign them one either. They challenge themselves constantly and stick to it. This helps them build confidence, determination and integrity. Just for today set yourself a goal. The smaller the better. It could be as simple as doing the laundry. Committing to go to that yoga class. Making someone smile. Making that rude barista at your usual coffee shop feel amazing and appreciated. Commit to just one thing today and stick to it. Importantly be proud when you’ve achieved it. I even encourage you to start recording them so as to go back and remind yourself of your achievements.

“You can’t give to others what you don’t have.”

All you need is Love.

Last week we talked about one of two emotions that run our decision making, fear. This week we’ll talk about its opposite, which is Love. Love in its purest form, is an incredible emotion to live by. At its purest form, love raises one’s vibration to a whole other level and a lot of times a simple acknowledgement of the person’s being is all it takes.

What do I mean by raising one’s vibration? What are vibrations? Ultimately, what I’ve come to understand is that invisible ripples we use to interact with the world are caused by energy. The height, length and amount of the ripples determine the frequency we run by. This basically runs our engines. Have you ever noticed how coffee just doesn’t cut it some days but a sincere kind and motivational word from people we love and respect, boosts us to a whole new magnitude? Tell a child how amazing he is today and see how much energy that gives him. Love is the highest vibrational emotion of them all and the root of all emotions as such. The power it has when its given freely and without attachment, which is the purest of its kind (will elaborate that statement in later blogs), has the power to move mountains obstructing our goals, heals what some would call incurable diseases and gives hope in situations that seem hopeless. It ultimately makes us feel good about ourselves and everyone deserves to feel that way regardless of their past. Each one of us is just as important as the next and deserves to be treated as such. Always try and give the benefit of the doubt. We all deserve that much. A trick John C. Maxwell reminded me of recently.

Again, everything is in balance. “You can’t give to others what you don’t have”. If you don’t have love for yourself, it will be hard to give it to others. Take the time to look at yourself in the mirror, what are the first thoughts that come to mind? Are they rooted out of love? If they are not, make it so. Always remember, you deserve your own love as much as the next.

A coworker once asked me if I believed in magic. Yes, absolutely, words are magic. They have the power to give wings and let someone sore or crush them to dust. We decide the kind of magic it will be.

Just for this week, give everyone you meet the self-esteem booster they deserve and see the magic of its ripple come back to you 😉.

and of course #AlwaysLove

Title inspired by one of The Beatles’ greatest 😉

Blog 6; Healty choices; Drugs

Blog 6

Hello all you Beautiful and Strong Souls. We are still on; making conscious healthy choices to better the transferability of information.

As I was saying, we are sensory beings. We respond to different stimuli in order to send, receive and process information. The information we intake can be of high quality or low quality, depending on what’s going on on the inside. I can talk about food but that is not what I want to focus on today. But I will leave you with this; the choices we make with the foods we eat are important but how we think and react to those foods are far greater.

With that said lets focus on drugs. As most of you know, drugs are substances that affect the brain by altering or interfering with the way it communicates with the rest of the body and external world. Im not writing this blog today to say drugs are bad, on the contrary, I believe heathy and conscious use or experimentation of certain drugs can help shed some light on particular subjects. Not that I don’t believe it can’t be done without.

My number one rule for doing any drug (I would even go to the extent of coffee). Is make sure you are in a safe environment with people you love and trust. If your uncomfortable or fearful in your environment and you intake something that will overstimulate these emotions, you might get a disturbing experience called a bad trip. The name says it all. Its not fun. The same can be said for coffee. If your in a stressful environment and you’ve had one too many coffees don’t expect to respond as well as you would in a neutral stay of mind. If your about to give a meeting or teach a class or need to make important decisions, try as much as possible, to take into consideration what substances you intake because this will affect your decision making.

BE RESPONSIBLE. Especially to the young souls out there that are going to have there first Beer or first cocktail. Take it easy. Start learning your limits. Do you really need to take 4 shots of tequila? If you do, do you know how that will affect your body? If your going to be experimenting, experiment wisely. Listen to your gut metaphorically and literally. And never let anyone make you feel like you have to do anything you don’t want to. If your not sure best you don’t do it.

Get information. Before you do anything you’ve never done, ask questions. Do some research. Get different opinions. Get different perspective.

Any drug you decide to take, whether its hard drugs or soft, will have an impact on the quality of information you will be receiving and therefore have an impact on the decision you will be making. Just be conscious about it. And if after that you’ve decided you still want to try, have fun. Life is about experiences, learn what you need to learn and no regrets. Life is too short for regrets 😉

Goodnight
& Always Love

Blog 2; Staying true to yourself

Blog 2

Rise and shine you Beautiful and Strong Individuals. Today is all about integrity, staying true to yourself.

Part of loving your self is healing yourself. By aligning your actions with your internal compass. This compass will point to anywhere you hold your thoughts, regardless of the amount of times. So always try and aim it towards what you believe is right. Meaning, based on no one else’s code of conduct but your own.

Why is this important? Because the moment you don’t, you create a misalignment with your values. This is in essence what makes you who you are. And if your not in alignment with who you truly are down at the core, its a bit harder to love yourself. Don’t worry if you have trouble doing so. Values are constantly transmuting based on new information and new experiences and Misalignment is not something we learn in school. Which is perfectly fine, because you are now aware that you are in control of your thoughts.

How does this work;
Pay attention to your body. How does it react when you say or do anything. Do you have an unusual or awkward feeling or pressure anywhere. Is it in the stomach area or chest, where your heart is located 😉? When you pin point the tension; The second step is to acquire the necessary time to acknowledge it. This could be during the moment or 5 minutes in between brakes or even before going to bed. Simply to see whats up and thanking your body for communicating what no longer or might no longer serve you and anything else you need to know at that moment. Our body is a great tool for our soul and spirit. Try and always respect and acknowledge it by healing it with that white light of pure love, especially when all else fails 😉

Last step; Turn this into a healthy habit and it will become a great tool. Just remember the fun part is getting back up after falling down. A child learning how to walk is always laughing and determined when they fall over. In essence you can say they are the purest form of self love. Don’t you agree? There is a lot we can learn about ourselves threw the eyes of a child. Always honor and respect your lessons.

Have a Beautiful Day
& Always Love
